1. Who We Are
SEOPage.ai ("SEOPage.ai", "we", "us", or "our") is a SaaS platform for AI‑driven programmatic SEO and content creation. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use and share it, and the rights you have under applicable laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
2. Information We Collect
- Account and Contact Information. Name, email address, password, and optional profile details you provide. If you purchase a plan, billing details are handled by our payment processors; we do not store full card numbers.
- Usage and Content Data. Pages you generate, features used, time on platform, and content you input or upload (e.g., URLs, text, images).
- Technical Data. IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and identifiers collected via cookies or similar technologies.
- Integrations. If you connect third‑party services, we access only the data required to provide the integration (e.g., Google Search Console site and search analytics data) under the permissions you grant.
- Communications. Support requests, feedback, and related records.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, and improve the platform and its AI features.
- Personalize recommendations (e.g., keywords, strategies) and user experience.
- Process transactions, subscriptions, and account administration.
- Enable integrations you connect (e.g., Google Search Console).
- Security, fraud prevention, debugging, and legal compliance.
- Communications about features, updates, and service notices (marketing only if you opt in; you may opt out anytime).
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and analyze usage. You can control cookies in your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may impact core functionality.
- Essential cookies: authentication, preferences.
- Analytics cookies: traffic and feature usage measurement (see "Third‑Party Services").
5. Third‑Party Services We Use
- Google Tag Manager (GTM). We deploy tags via GTM (e.g., analytics and measurement). What runs through GTM depends on our configuration and may include Google or other analytics pixels you choose to enable.
- PostHog Analytics. We use PostHog to understand product usage, improve features, and capture page views/exceptions. Data may be sent to PostHog's U.S. infrastructure.
- Intercom (Messenger widget). When you are signed in, we may identify you to Intercom using your user ID, name, email, and account creation time to provide support.
- Google Sign‑In and One Tap. If you choose Google authentication, Google provides us your basic profile details (e.g., name, email) to create or sign in to your account.
- Google Search Console (optional integration). With your consent, we access your GSC data (e.g., sites and search analytics) solely to display insights in our dashboard. You may revoke access at any time in your Google account.
- Hosting and Infrastructure. We host our application on cloud providers (including Vercel). These providers process data on our behalf under strict agreements.
- Payment Processors. Payments are handled by third‑party processors. We receive limited payment metadata (e.g., status, last four digits) for billing records; full card details are not stored by us.
Third‑party services have their own privacy policies. We contractually require processors to protect data and use it only for our instructions.
6. Legal Bases (GDPR)
- Contract: Running the service you request.
- Legitimate interests: Product improvement, security, anti‑fraud.
- Consent: Non‑essential cookies/marketing; third‑party integrations you enable.
- Legal obligations: Compliance with applicable laws.
7. Sharing of Information
- Service providers and processors under agreements requiring confidentiality and security.
- Integrations you connect (to deliver the requested functionality).
- Business transfers (e.g., merger or acquisition) with notice where required.
- Legal compliance and protection of rights, safety, and security.
- Otherwise only with your consent. We do not sell your personal information.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with laws, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Content you generate remains available until you delete it or your account. We may retain limited records (e.g., invoices, security logs, backups) as required or permitted by law.
9. Security
We use industry‑standard protections, including HTTPS in transit, hashed passwords, access controls, and infrastructure security. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we encourage strong, unique passwords and prompt reporting of suspected incidents.
10. International Transfers
We may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) for cross‑border transfers.
11. Your Rights
- GDPR (EU/EEA): access, rectification, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection; withdraw consent at any time.
- CCPA/CPRA (California): right to know, delete, correct, and opt‑out of "sale"/"sharing" (we do not sell personal information). No discrimination for exercising rights.
To exercise rights, see "Contact Us" below. We may request verification to protect your account.
12. Children's Privacy
Our services are not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child provided data to us, please contact us and we will remove it.
